Sushi Party

Leah and Nathan hosted what is becoming their annual post-Thanksgiving sushi party.  It was delicious, of course!  We didn’t get any pictures of the food, but we got a picture of the two of us.  This was after  several days off work for George…he looks so refreshed!  I’m so excited for him to be done with training and to have more time to sleep 🙂  Seriously, sometimes (most of the time!), I don’t know how he does everything he does (and does it well!).

We made it!

We have now officially flown with all of our children.  The trip really went smoothly, the girls were great and we didn’t loose anyone—or anything that we know of.  George’s interview went really well.  He has a few more coming up.  We’re excited to see where we are going to land for a job!

Today I was able to unpack all of our things and wash the mountain of laundry we brought home.  I usually have no problem getting things washed.  It’s the folding and putting away part that often is procrastinated.  Then, we end up wearing stuff straight out of the laundry basket until it’s time to do laundry again and I don’t have any empty baskets 🙂  Not today though!  All five loads are folded and ready to be put away by the girls tomorrow.

Grace was a little puny and kind of lay around all day.  She and Elliana listened to a lot of the Little House on the Prairie audiobook and watched two Animated Hero Classics videos.  This morning after breakfast and after Lydia was down for her morning nap, Clara wanted me to play doctor with her.  I got super sleepy while she was doctoring me.  After a little while, I decided since the big girls were occupied with Little House and Lydie was sleeping, I may as well try to get a cat nap.  I justified that I would be more productive the rest of the day 🙂  As I was drifting off, I remember feeling someone climb in bed with me.  Lydia was up a short time later (but long enough to get a few winks).  I looked and it was Clara, sound asleep in our bed.  She’s a sweetie, a big talker and has the funniest laugh I’ve ever heard.
